Dear Club Members,
This is a reminder to club members and players to come down to the ground next Saturday 17th March morning to join our PRE-SEASON GROUND WORK PARTY!
Since last contacting you, there has been some amazing work done by Harry Callaghan, Adam Page, Ben Mason and Dave Brooker to clear the patch of ground between the shed and the clump of trees over on the far side. A free digger was brought in courtesy of Tarmec & used to level it out. Now we need at least another half dozen willing volunteers to help put in some hard standing with hard core & concrete.
At the same time we need another four bodies at least to repair, wash down & and paint the sight screens.
The more who volunteer, the more we can organise this work in shifts so the burden doesn’t fall on just a few sacrficing most of their Saturday.
I promise there will be bacon rolls and coffee/tea for those who turn up!
